Universities have a trend towards less expectations and offer less and less real world application. Some Academicians state that the university is founded to study theory devoid of application… but they are wrong. The public demands graduates who have skills that work in today’s economy.

A recent storm has toppled the Pioneer Cabin Tree here in California. They say this tree may have stood for over 1000 years and was first tunneled to attract tourists to our Redwood forests.
