My wife is reaching her 70th birthday this month! Laura received her bachelors, masters and doctorate at UCLA.
She loves research with our daughters Karen and Kristin and Karla helps with the illustrations in her books.
No industry but Moderate Polution?
On the central coast of California we have cow, surfers and vineyards… but nothing that contributes to the gray skies and polution? So where is it all coming from!
local and state politicians want to tell you that it’s home grown polution and that it’s from cars, dune buggies and cow methane. If it’s gas it’s coming from Sacramento !
here’s a pic of the problem… a giant cloud hanging over the ocean moving across the US of A.
whatever the cause… it’s not… you know… shhhh… China .
Schnitzels by any other name
over the years, I have loved pounding out meat to produce wonderful Schnitzels! Thin meat rolled in an egg mixture and then seasoned bread crumbs and finally fried! Typically, placed on egg noodles and covered in a yummy gravy with mushrooms!
pictured are three of the many Schnitzels we’ve enjoyed: a pork , a Bison and a Red Hartebeest I enjoyed in South Africa!!
Everyone’s in the Kitchen
One of the great benefits of Covid is that many people dusted off their old cookbooks and rediscovered their kitchens!
dining at a restaurant may be grand, but making something special for your family has its own warmth an charm!
planning something special for Easter? There’s still time to think about it!!!
Etouffee a Birthday Surprise
Even though my birthday is a month away, even I have things to do. I love shrimp and King Crab Etouffee… so here I am not allowing it to be rushed.
