Viva Sanchez! Trojans were ‘el magnifico’ over Irish!

Southern California Trojans NOW have a second quarterback!
New starting USC Trojan quarterback  Mark Sanchez  performed wonderfully in the  Trojan’s  one sided win over the struggling Irish of Notre Dame.

I am sure that the  ‘big drop’ the team  experienced in the plane flight on the way to meetnig the Irish ensured that everyone was ‘fully awake’ when they were in South Bend! Here’s a few quotes:

“That was terrifying,” fullback Stanley Havili said. “I thought I was going to die.”

“There was a moment there when I was thinking, ‘This is it,’ ” Dennis Slutak, USC’s director of football operations, told The Los Angeles Times.

So, the Trojans are back on track…

Firefox vs. Internet Explorer?

My daughter likes Foxes. It is who she is… she tells me. I think that when FireFox first appeared those not so many years ago, Karla had to have it for her browser. Since then, we have all recieved emails and other sales pieces from Karla to try to get us to ‘switch.’

FINAL SCORE: Rush $2,000,000 and Democrats $0 ?

the Senate Rush for Charity
It was very clever the first time I heard about it… what someone might call a great ‘spin’.

The Left aisle of the Senate decided to write the station boss of  Rush Limbaugh  to protest remarks they felt were a slap to our soldiers and gathered a number of signatures to a letter.
oh, i betcha wish you didn't sign the letter now?
Well, the letter appeared on ebay with the proceeds being donated to a worthy charity founded by former Marines and law enforcement folks… last I looked the last bid was over $800 k… and the only question remains is whether or not it will go over 1 million!

Amazing! Ooooops! I just looked again and with 12 hours left it is now over $ 2 million. I guess the democrats can actually do something that benefits America’s children afterall!

Fun for the holidays

Sometimes wonderful things just drop into your lap. I know I am going to hear my daughters scream over this one. This holiday season, Neiman Marcus is offering a  wonderful truffle Cake  that has so captivated my wife… that it seems too hard to resist. After all, it is chocolate!

In checking out their site… I also found their famous Chocolate Chip recipe! The real difference is the addition of Expresso coffee powder. Laura will just love it!

Thanks to my  cousin Shirley, we checked out her site and discovered a couple of things that were fun to add to our efforts. One was that little ICON that appears in your ‘bookmarks’ and in the address line of your web site!
