Thank you Karla, Kristin and Karen for making me a father all those many years ago… when I think of you… I will always think of you like this.
Father’s Day — to me — is typified by the “few hundred fathers only” of ancient Sparta who held back the tens of thousands of Persians in the Battle of Thermopylae. In the grand scheme of things, Fathers protect our world.
Happy Father’s Day out there to all those men out there who know the difference between being a father and a ‘daddy.’
